Tom,

Hmmm...I think you're thinking of two different things.  In the beginning
of the 4th edition book, there's a list of commonly used terms, and their
"modern day" counterparts.  (e.g. Live Metal = Robot; NoGrain = Plastic;
etc.)  In a Dragon Magazine there was an article on the root words of many
things which (apparently) was to be used to construct the names of new
monsters.  Or at least that was how I interpreted it's use.

Of which were you thinking?

Yep, I found my copy of that. Photo copies that i got laminated so I
wouldn't have to carry around the whole mag all the time.... Maybe I could
scan them....
